The last day she.....

will be two years old is today. Tomorrow will mark my baby leaving the baby years officially....WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE GET OUT THE WORLD CLOCK AND STOP IT!!!!!

Time is going by wayyy too fast. I figured I would find some comfort here from all of you out there in mommy land, I also decided to just recap on some of the most wonderful things that have happened in the last three years that I will miss and the things I won't miss so much.

The five things I will miss about babydom:

1. Holding a 9 lb. baby (vs. a 25lb. toddler) and yes at birth she was 9 lbs. 13oz. to be exact!
2. Watching her wriggle in her blankies
3. Seeing her smile while playing peek a boo
4. Nursing
5. Watching her kick and squeal with her fat chubby legs

Five things I am more than happy to wave goodbye to:

1. Diapers- Need I say more?
2. Crack of dawn feedings
3. Spit up - only deal is now I traded it for the more gross kind cause she's older
4. Fights to get into the bath tub
5. Washing endless amount of baby clothes by hand - now the machine can do it for me!

May be some of you can give me some pointers for whats to look forward to so I don't miss it while I look back over these times. Me & the hubs cried about it late last night and while it's difficult there is much to rejoice over. All three of these years for her were healthy & happy. She is a well rounded, sharp as a tack, loving & caring little girl and I couldn't have dared to ask God for more. HE. IS. GOOD.

Remember to redeem the time you have with your children while you have it and to leave tomorrow's worries for tomorrow. Sooner rather than later tomorrow will come and you will have missed out on today.

- Just a thought....

What a bittersweet milestone, huh? She is one adorable little girl! I hate to break it to you but I'm all about the truth these days so.....I believe "the terrible twos" is a cakewalk. It's really "the terrible threes". They are so freakin' "independent" in the own minds, headstrong and still have to be followed everywhere! On the brighter side.....of the pre-K years, 4 is my favorite so you have that to look forward too. Happy birthday to your beautiful baby girl! :)

They sure do grow up fast. I can understand. I'm learning that 3 year olds are so funny as well. They love to learn and they look up at you in many ways.

Hi Candace ... So nice to see your sweet face on my blog. I had been thinking of you lately, but just hadn't made it over for a visit.

Your daughter is just precious. You are so wise to savor each moment. I didn't do that enough, especially with my first. You have much to look forward to ... ;0)

Yes! She is a wonder with that beautiful smile and those big bright eyes. Kind of makes me want to have another. Nah, just kidding!

I have four :-) Best moments of my life happened as a mother.

Nice post!

I thought parents are often dreading the 2 years old (the terrible 2) stage?

I'm still enjoying my going to be 8mths old boy :)

Looking fwd to read more on your girl's adventures!

Cheers & God bless :)

You washed baby clothes by hand?! Wow! You rock. :) Especially with a 9 pound baby. She's petite now, huh?

I really like your blog... I think I came over from Cutie Booty Cakes, but I can't remember (momnesia at work for real.)

My children are 18, 6, 4 and 2. Although the time has passed quickly; it also drags by for me. I am looking forward to the empty nest. We'll see if I say the same thing in 15 years. LOL

Yeah my peanut is tiny now she's just very long. She wears a size 5T and she just turned three. Thanks for the compliments ladies, I'm trying to keep things interesting around here.
